Floods in Padang

Just began rain before few hours and raining, raining whole afternoon, anggkots stuck in Sari Anggrek, there is no way how to get back to Gerbang, UNAND and my kos... Also i fell down to channel with my new laptop, but fortunately i am not hurted and my notebook is working, so i can blog now on it, while we wait at some restaurant when the rain stops. When the rain stops????? maybe at time stop rains me and my friend Putri will be friend with everybody in this restaurant... hahaha.... just not so ready to smile, as feel so cold, as all my clothes got wet from falling into channel... :D :D just imagine... :D :D

No more water, got flu and cute goat*

Today in the morning i felt quite bad, because i got some flu and headache and just not feeling all right.. And also no water is running already second day so we are currently without any water for shower, washing-up and toilet, we only have *thanks God* water for drinking...

So i stayed at my room whole morning and noon, resting and waiting to feel better. At afternoon i persuaded myself to go at university to sort out my castellano lessons at Language centre at university... and what a nice surprise was awaiting me in front our house :] First i did not know whether it is a sheep or a small dog, but finally realized it is a small, cute and friendly goat.... Definitely my new friend here. Then this goat make friendship with our cat {picture 3] and then this goat with her/his elder companion continued to search better grass in neighbourhood...

*or another plastic bags?* As there is unfortunately rubbish everywhere all around and all animals come and you can see how they are searching food, usually eat this food with plastic bag itself... :{ Even "paradise" like Indonesia has its not so presentable sides.

Long time no blogging.... no taping words, ideas... now i write about present then continue with past travel in Malaysia and maybe finish with ideas about future.. and about Indonesia and Sumatra, of course :D

 .... and here is a picture stories how i love a rice cooker... haha... such a useful invention. With rice cooker, everyday there is "nasi putih" - soft white rice and sometimes we put some chilli indide haha, or tofu or we cook egg omelette in it as you can see on right side.. so that`s why i love my rice cooker, because without rice cooker i would eat just "boring" potatoes, tofu and tomatoes without no rice and without no chilli... no true Padang people would eat it! :D

Moments of Brasil

These photos are taken on Faith Pilgrimage Route to Aparecida (in portuguese Caminho da fe) in Brasil, especially from our 2-3 days foot trip from Săo Sebastiăo da Grama to Águas da Prata, it should be about 34 km according official map but I would guess it was more.. :) Here is the link with a map of Caminho da fe - map

It was quite hard track in strong Brasilian sun, we were surrounded by coffee plantation, by green hills, by cows and horses, and we have not met almost anybody.. it seems to be a real Brasilian countryside :) On the right side, there is a photo of an abandoned house, you can find many other houses as this, but not all of them lost its owners forever, so it is not easy to find out which one is ready just for you to move in :D 

These butterflies did a very pleasant company to us around Águas da Prata, where we climbed up and down hidden waterfall in jungle, but it was really worst to climb there...:)

It is very hard to write something about Taize, because I am in love in Taize :D I mean I do not need to be there every day of a year, but I am really happy for this place that it is open for everybody

The week of silence - photos

GRANADA

Granada - have so much to share about Granada and so hard to express it by words. For it, at first I put this song of SPANISH GUITAR to catch the atmosphere of South Spain, especially from Granada. ;-)

 I came to Granada at night, passed 3 hrs in train, travelling from Sevilla. I was there to visit my old friend whom I met in Galicia in summer, so everything goes much more easier when you know some local people but to Granada I went for first time and had no contact, so it was really "a virgin travel" for me :D I decided to stay at Residencia Ziri as I was looking for some cute, safe and enough calm place to stay and do some studies as well. This room in Residencia Ziri (C/ Cardenal Mendoza, 4) was marvelous and fulfilled all my needs and expectations. There was everything you need and the balcony opened you a view on never ending story: what is going on on street. Here are some pics to you could get some imagination how is was ;) One room for 1 person costs right 20 euros.

I was in Granada just after Festival of Three Kings on beginning of January, so even in Granada it was cold, so central heating was needed. Actually Granada is quite cool (in meaning cold;-) even in the summer or let;s say cooler than in Sevilla and other parts of Andalusia because of mountains Sierra Nevada. Among others, there is well known Mulhacén, which has 3478 metres above sea level. I really do appreciate this location of mountains because they are really near to Granada. And I took a day trip by foot from Residencia Ziri straight to the mountains which are situated behind Alhambra complex ;-) I put some photos from this foot trip. I found really nice places, for example "cave flats", Maroccan tea house and at the end of day so powerful sunset... :

The Mirror in Maroccan "tea house" in Granada. I recommend you to visit this place. It is on the left side of Alhambra if you walk there from city centre on main road ;)

Firstly climb up to have such a view. In almost every new place I used to climb up the nearest hill juts to see the city I am in from up, it gives up another perspective to see all human swarm from distance and then you return into it already changed ;-)

Have you ever heard about "cave people" from Granada?  Me not, but I was really amazed by these caves, so at first I was thinking that maybe some seasonal workers live like that because accommodation is quite expensive in Spain generally. But then my friends from Palautordera told me that it is quite an opposite that living in cave is much more expensive than living somewhere else because it is kind of speciality and it began to be lucrative and even you need to pay it (i do not know whom:-), to pay monthly rent to live there, funny this world... Let;s see some pics:

Capitalism and Love of Spirit

Magic date of "2012". Monday. Very nice spring day. Hitchhiking, nice talking with older man in his car, then taking a train, just enjoying the landscape. Near Ražice (near Tábor) discover nice lake with so many birds all playing theirs games on it, and sun shines so nice, sun seems to be so kind today. It would be so nice if everything gonna be so kind as today;s sun is ;) Be free, be free, singing this song, but sometimes afraid that words of this song can be forgoten so quickly. How quickly we can sell our souls and bodies and be slaves of luxury, of comfort, of life with all sureness which this world can offer. We can pay to have nice or better body, to prevent or to improve many physical detection, to pay to have somebody;s life in your hands. MONEY. I have money and you do what i want, then i give you some money (usually little, little part of money). Is not this slavery of capitalism? Capitalism was for many ex-soviet countries kind of hope, hope that things work, things work when you put money into them. If you put money into machine, machine do what you want. And in capitalistic world has became "cool" to have capitalistic relationships, I do something for you because I need you, I give you money and you do what i wish you do, not what you CAN REALLY DO, not what you wish to do. This is not nice... Of course, you can say, it is like this, we can not change it.. but .. listen, if we let it so, it makes disastre. If relationships are not important any more, if will destroy our souls, our (svědomí). And if our svědomí does not work properly who else helps us to save our world, to act in a moral way, in a good way? This seems as very abstract. It is hard to specify, but briefly i would say, it is connected with God, with such Spirit, such Energy which show us how to act in every moment. If we are ready to follow orders of God. If everybody would be ready to act properly as our God wish (not as we wish !!), it would be such a paradise. But we can try it here on this Earth as well, one is so happy when can feel God;s presence, His love... it is nothing for it you need to study so long Bible, to study theology... i speak about SURENESS that He IS, He loves you.... however we can not say He or She, because He is all above that :) This is according me certain top of this life. Live our life in spiritual way... TO BE SURE, WHERE IS OUR PLACE AT THE CERTAIN MOMENT, where is our place among other people. Do something and be sure why we do it, and do not envy to others, as they can have more of something or lead more interesting life than we, but maybe they need it, we do not know what is their mission in this world, we can not judge anyone, ANYONE, we have never known, what is someone;s mission on this planet... just He knows ;) ;) ;) Look for joy, stay in it! ;)

Communism and liberty

I believe (you know this is the beginning of everything :D) that everybody has god a MISSION in this world. EVERYBODY. Everybody has a task, has something to complete . For better imagination it is like a brain with all the neurons inside, if some neurons missing then some part in body can not work properly. If some people can not complete their mission, it of course has impact on whole society. If some people are consider as criminals, as people are put away of society, something is society is missing. How it helps to society when put some people on the perfiery? In Soviet time in Czech Republic, people who were not "interesting" for communist where send away. People who were psyhical or mentally disabled where hidden to some institution and these institutions were hidden as well in countryside of the country. These people could not work for state , they were different, they were others. Communist state was interest just in heathy people who could live, work and obey THE SYSTEM. Who was against system and told it to somebody or the police recognized was send to hidden places as well, or was send to keep him silence. YES, keep people silence was one of many bad sides of communism. Voluntary slavery, people who wanted live without problems with SYSTEM needed to accept how is it and lost part their liberty in keeping shut their mouths. This is what we have from history, COMMUNISTS taughts us that it is convenient to keep silence for whom which want to achieve some profit to live better (understand: to have some material or economic advantages)!... This is what we deal with all the time, it is in our "nation". Generation from generation pass it over and this is what post-sovietic countries need to deal with in future. Deal with fear to speak about things, do not remain in silence however somebody could pay us to keep in silence our knowledge. Do not be afraid, do not support SYSTEM, which is not good...etc.

Life with a BELIEF ;-)

Just returned from mountain trip and these mountains really consist some kind of "magic" as said my new friend by heart which I met today in the middle of nothing (forest), just sitting on the branch and washing her toes in cold fresh mountain river, just cool place to meditate... I would describe (if I could) this mountain as mysterious and mystic in Christian way of speech..., because it is not really first time I had some internal call and let;s say voice which told me to go there and then things happended... I met really incredible people on these tracks, they just were on right place in right time and I was there also in right time and on right place ;-)

So my first trip up there was in September, I was new in Barcelona, it was just my second month in Spain etc. I get up really early because from village I was living before it was really far away, needed to change some 2-3 trains, then take bus and then take another bus, but finally I reached the village of Montseny, bought there some lovely local food and discover pass by pass the nature around and love it so much !!! Love it as it was my house in the heaven ... You know I discover there very nice house, abandoned and there was fountain and there was some picture with Jesus and his disciple and the water in this fountain was SO STRONG.. and this place really have very special energy and I just knew I would like to stay overnight... in the arms of God... but you know racionally you do not stay somewhere overnight if you have no sleeping bag, so firstly I was asking for hostal, but the lady was really rude and told me that I should told her before and it is very complicated and she has no time etc. ... and I got angry - just a bit .. and was really hesitating - return to civilisation or not return and stay .. and I just follow my intution and belief that God;s gonna take care about me, how He did many times before and hope is He going to do all my life ... I return to this "Heaven house" and just was praying what to do next.. and saw one big house in the middle of this valley and had feeling that maybe there will be somebody who can help me so and indeed there was !! :) I met one old guy and his dogs, explain my situation that I would need to sleep outside but .. without no sleeping bag it would be difficult .. and He said: Ok, no problem, I have one ... and THAT;S IT !! I have a lovely night without no cold, because the presence of God can heal you and heat you as well ;-) So just want to inspire you and tell you .. there is always somebody who can help you, you can need to believe it and find him/her. And do not forgot GOD HAS ALWAYS SOLUTION FOR YOUR LIFE BECAUSE HE CREATED YOU AND KNOWS YOU AND YOUR NEEDS .. just be patience and prepare because as you know, his ways are not predictable for us,,,;-) buenas tardes

Santa Maria de Palautordera

It is just one week since I moved here so I see everything more clearly ;-) I get used quite quickly on this village. Already having some daily rituals, I mean for example certain place where to go shopping, where to buy bread (pan), fruits, wine... Today is also my first day in local library, it is very cute and cozy, it is small, but I found here for example big CZECH-SPANISH dictionary !! just imagine ... I could not found it anywhere in big libraries in Barcelona, neither on my university .., well, there is one dictionary but small and quite old, so this village have one point more in total rating..and also there are really good music cd, just listening this catalan singer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJX5bJuh8m8&feature=share

The library is open just for thursdays, fridays, saturdays morning (10-14), then after siesta I am already on my way for my university lecture, take a bus for train, then train, then change a train and in one hour I am on campus of UAB (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona). Sometimes in the morning before shopping basic food just take a walk and in 10 or 15 minutes I am in almost deserted place near river and let me get seduced by waterfalls and then forgot about all Spain and all siesta time and come late to shop, so staying hungry, because every shop is close after 14 up to 17 ;-) You know, get seduced is a dangerous sport, however it was just "nature view".
